Supported Hardware
The driver configures the Arduino as a virtual COM port which can be seen in the Device Manager. Open the Device Manager window by right-clicking the Windows 10 start button in the lower left of the screen and then selecting Device Manager on the menu that pops up. All QSI 600 Series cameras utilize High Speed USB 2.0 port (USB 1.1 compatible) for connection to the host computer and imaging application software. Read and transfer time for an entire 2048×2048 image frame is typically approximately one-half a second in High Speed mode and less than 7 seconds in High Quality mode. Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers cause the USB device to appear as an additional COM port available to the PC. General hardware info
If your layout uses some feedback mechanism to sense the actual positions of Turnouts, for example a microswitch connected to the throw bars or a decoder that returns a confirmation message, JMRI can use that to keep track of what's actually happening on the layout. We call this 'Feedback', and how to configure and use it is described on the Turnout Feedback page.
