Drivers Promise Motherboards -

I am a newbie to UBCD4win.. I have played with BartPE in the past and I am pleased with the work that has been done on this great utility! However, I am having trouble with my Promise 378 sata drivers, the chipset is built into my Asus A8V Deluxe motherboard and apparently the included 378 driver in the BTS Mass Storage Package are not compatable..
I have noticed a couple of things. First if I enable the BTS Mass Storage Drivers the ulsata.sys file is not expanded in the final build. It looks like ulsata.sy_.. Like I said I don't think it is compatable as I can expand it for the iso and still my hard drive(s) are not detected.. Second, I disabled the BTS Mass Storage Drivers and copied my drivers into the drivers/SCSIAdapter folder.. UBCD4win does not copy my ulsata.sys file. I force it to copy and I get an error on bootup.
My final solution is to slipstream my drivers into a xp iso using WinFuture xp-Iso-Builder.. WinFuture xp-Iso-Builder copies my drivers into the slipstreamed xp iso ,however the driver is not compressed and when I use the iso to build UBCD4Win ignores the file, so I built a .bat file to copy over to the BartPe/I386/system32/drivers folder during the UBCD4Win creation process. From there I get a successful bootup using UBCD4Win.
So my question is.. Is this a bug in UBCD4Win or am I missing something here that would make my build process easier?
Thanks to all,
